On November 7th 2023 the Tustin North Hangar (Hangar 1), caught fire.
Back in 2008 I was lucky to have the chance to film in the South Hanger (Hanger 2).
The shoot was for Nissan, it was produced by my late friend and colleague, Jeff Granbery for M2G.
It was one of the first times we used the RED camera.
It was also the very first time I used a Photobubble.
Craig Barker was the Director and the results were stunning!
A Photobubble is a huge tent that is kept inflated by a small increase in air pressure.
The Hangar is so huge that it even has a unique internal climate.
The scale also means that a trip to the portable loos requires a long journey in and out of the hangar. On day 2 of the shoot, all the crew brought bicycles to cut down on this time!
